Honestly, I have never considered starting a Ko-fi until your comment. After thinking about it, I've decided not to go this route right now. I agree that writers or content creators should be compensated for their efforts. I think websites like Patreon, Kickstarter, or Substack are cool ideas for showing your support.

Nonetheless, the donation model isn't the right fit for me at this moment. Running the website requires some upkeep costs, but they are currently manageable. I want to continue BL Watcher as a passion project without adding the monetary incentives.

One of the reasons is that it involves extra work lol. I have to coordinate and communicate with writers, which takes away my time from doing reviews. I would rather focus on BL Watcher as a solo project. With that said, I may change my mind. The door isn't closed forever.

Yup, I've been down the same rabbit hole. I've binged on so much BL that I'm afraid of getting an overdose. Sometimes, I experience an existential crisis and ask myself if I'm watching ~too much~ BL. Will this obsession make me lose touch with reality? 😵‍💫

Yes, I definitely agree it's one of the best BL dramas. The story is bold and intelligent. Unfortunately, the sensitive topics may have made this series less marketable in Thailand's political climate. It's easier to promote inoffensive dramas like Bad Buddy or A Tale of Thousand Stars than Not Me. Nonetheless, Not Me is a brilliant series that deserves more recognition.

I actually love mindless fluff too, hehe~ 😆 The great thing about the BL genre is that I can tap into different types of stories, depending on my mood. Some are fun and lighthearted, while others are deep and angsty. I appreciate all kinds of BL dramas and movies, as long as they entertain me.
